The  Iceman's FEMSS (Friday Early Morning Sunrise Swim) takes place every Friday in July and August. We meet and swim from 5:30am until 6:30am. We swim at Stillwell Avenue and the Atlantic Ocean - Coney Island Brooklyn. 

The goal of FEMSS is to help swimmers get comfortable with open water swimming and to get a nice swim in on a friday morning before heading off to work.

This is our third season and we have had up to 20 swimmers at a morning swim. The group swims back and forth between the jetties. Swimmers range from beginners to Olympic and English Channel swimmers.

The water temperature is currently around 75 degrees and it should stay in that range for the rest of the season.
